Policy and Waiver Consent

Introduction

Hello! Thank you for welcoming me into your journey! We at Moving Free are committed to providing exceptional service to you. Here is our policy, effective as of Jan 1, 2025.

Note that by signing up for, registering for, accepting, or purchasing products or services from us (through this website or otherwise), you (and anyone you are representing, such as purchasing a service for) are explicitly agreeing/consenting to this policy and waiver.

You Acknowledge Our Credentials

Laura Brower is credentialed with an APP designation from the American Polarity Therapy Association, and a Reiki I and II certificate from the North Carolina Reiki Training Center. Moving Free  was founded in early 2020, offering energy healing, group somatic movement classes, and education to facilitate the wellbeing of individuals.

Laura Brower is holistic health practitioner, and is not a doctor, does not give medical advice, prescribe, treat, or diagnose. Services offered are intended for prevention and the wellbeing of the client.

You understand Laura Brower's current level of experience and credentials.

You Accept the Outcome

Services may involve physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual components, including, but not limited to, hands-on touch, counseling, exercises, and attitude or lifestyle suggestions to support the client's healing process.

 

Effects from a session may be noticed immediately, and sometimes take longer to be noticed. The session may lead to a variety of emotions and sensations being felt by the client. Sometimes, clients experience short-term discomfort following a session (for example, from the release of lactic acid or painful memories being released). Sessions are always intended to mobilize and/or release stagnant energy in a way that supports the client's wellbeing.

We do not predict or guarantee any specific outcome. Health is a personal journey, and everyone will respond differently to the services we offer. We offer all services and products in good faith. 

You accept all services and products "as-is", regardless of the outcome.

You Agree to Self-Advocate

We provide a safe space for clients, to the best of our ability. Our clients may, however, have trauma and/or specialized needs. Because all people are unique and may perceive what is comfortable and uncomfortable differently, it is important that you let us know immediately if something feels inappropriate or harmful to you. Our intention is to support the wellbeing of you (and the group, if applicable), and you may need to inform us of how to best support you.

You agree to tell us immediately if a service or product seems inappropriate or harmful to you.

Our Payment and Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds, except for emergency cancellations. All payments are final, with the exceptions listed here.

  • If you are unable to attend a personalized (one-on-one) or group session, you agree to provide 48 hours notice prior to cancellation.

    • If less than 48 hours notice is provided, the full session fee will be retained.

    • If you are sick or have a family emergency, or provide at least 48 hours notice, then you can reschedule your session for no extra cost.

  • A refund may be provided for emergency cancellations where rescheduling is not an option, on a case-by-case basis. This may include job loss, moving due to a family illness, or other financial need circumstances.

  • If we are unable to provide the services or products purchased, we will always issue you a refund.

You agree to our payment and refund policy.

You are a Legal Adult

We currently do not accept minors as clients. Some group classes or sessions may be available for minors with oversight from legal adults or guardians. In these cases, the minor must have a legal adult parent or guardian present both at the event and providing consent to this policy and waiver on their behalf.

You agree that you are a legal adult. If you are representing a minor, you agree to provide consent to this policy and waiver on their behalf.

Your Consent and Waiver of Liability

You hereby consent to the services and products offered that you are signing up for, registering for, accepting, and/or purchasing from Moving Free and Laura Brower. Furthermore, you hold harmless and release Laura Brower and Moving Free from any and all liability, including pertaining to your physical, mental, and emotional health, whether related or unrelated to the services and products provided.

You agree/consent to this policy and full waiver of liability.
